The Trail Research Hub

The Trail Research Hub is comprised of dedicated trails researchers and practitioners from academia, industry and community, each of whom brings their unique experience and expertise to the team. The Trail Research Hub undertakes research, and educational and outreach initiatives to support sustainable trail development, construction, and maintenance across Canada while establishing best practice guidelines for trails governance and management. In undertaking research and educational and outreach initiatives, the Trail Research Hub is guided by the following mission, vision and values. All members of the Hub agree to abide by the following ethical principles and engage in consensus decision making, as outlined below. VISION To be the central hub for trail research, information, and leadership in Canada. MISSION To provide a central hub for the trails community: to share information and resources; To foster collaborative research and innovation; and, To create community through outreach and relationship building.
