The Twin Doctors

The Twin Doctors is the creation of twin OB/Gyn Doctors Jamil and Idries Abdur-Rahman. Jamil (Dr. J) and Idries (Dr. I) were inspired to start twindoctorstv.com after participating on season 22 of CBS’ ‘The Amazing Race’. While their stint on ‘The Amazing Race’ was shorter than they would have liked, it was what they were able to experience both during and after their stint on the show, as well as the people that they were able to meet and the places that they were able to see, that ultimately motivated them to start twindoctorstv.com. In addition to ‘The Amazing Race’, Dr. J and Dr. I have also been seen and/or heard internationally on Al Jazeera’s The Stream and as part of an Ancestry.com television ad campaign. They’ve been seen and heard nationally on The Tom Joyner Morning Show, The Michael and Joi in the Morning Show, blAck webamerica, Docs Outside the Box and on CBS’ ‘The Doctors’. They could also be heard nationally many Monday’s on The Ed Lover Show. They’ve been featured locally in Chicago on WCIU’s ‘U and Me In the Morning’, FOX 32 Chicago’s News At 9, FOX 32 Chicago’s Good Day Chicago and on WVON’s Maze Jackson Morning Show. They can also be seen regularly on ABC 7 Chicago’s ‘Windy City Live’. Dr. J and Dr. I are also both regular contributors to BlackDoctor.org where they have a featured column. They’ve also contributed to numerous articles featured in publications like Glamour Magazine, US Weekly, Huffington Post, Romper, Elite Daily and SELF Magazine. But The Twin Doctors is their baby. The Twin Doctors is an interactive viewer centered social and medical information platform that serves to inform, enlighten, motivate, educate and entertain, all while stimulating a discussion and establishing common ground all in the name of a healthier planet.
