The Umbrella

The Umbrella is a not-for-profit organization that was established in the summer of 2017 by a team of very close and talented individuals. Here at the Umbrella, we aim to provide a network of services to those seeking both personal and professional assistance. We believe in building strong foundations in individuals through any aid required and enabling them to be confident enough to maintain strong relations with their surroundings and community, be it at home, work, school, or play. In tandem with this, we aim to work on a wholly professional level in providing a platform to those who wish to promote their unique skills. Though our focal point is with the youth and young adults, our services are open to anyone in need. Can we make a difference? The Umbrella believes in a holistic approach to learning and growth. For one to excel in their environment, the individual must be confident and comfortable in the skin they exist in. We recognize that, to obtain this, acceptance is the key. In this light, the Umbrella attains goals aiding with mental stability, physical strength, academic achievements, and personal support. Simultaneously, the Umbrella is a space for individuals to show off the skills they’ve cultivated and not have it go to waste. In a world where there aren’t enough jobs to encompass the growing aptitudes of every individual, we see the need to form greater connections and give these individuals a chance to grow in these areas even if they don’t make a living out of it. Our qualified team of consultants are well equipped and prepared to lend a helping hand to bridge gaps where needed. They are well rounded individuals who are constantly under training in order to provide the best care and tools to aid others and reach their individual goals in life. Programmes are designed to take into consideration the individual’s personal goals and growth speed. Growing together results in a stronger foundation for one to build and flourish. Time is never a factor, consistency is! We, at The Umbrella, believe in a non-judgmental, familial based operation. We welcome anyone in need of help, be it on occasion or regular basis.
