The Upsiders are ‘fun’ personified. All having met at university, The Upsiders are friends who just want to invite you along to their party. Never boxed in by their musical style or genre, their versatility knows no bounds, with songs in the style of funk, disco, pop and from all corners of the universe. IMG_1268.jpg Accolades BBC Introducing Coventry & Warwickshire ‘Band of the Month’ July 2018 ‘Godiva Calling’ winners 2018 Performed with Neville Staple as part of Coventry City of Culture 2021 bid The Upsiders had their song 'Fly' licensed to feature in promotional material for Coventry University Online Enrolment to inspire students for years to come. Performed at Godiva Festival playing on the Main Stage, Acoustic stage and BBC Introducing stage. Newest Projects Their most recent project,'Reconnect', is a musical multimedia experience that follows the story of the modern millennial man, struggling to find real connections in the world around him. The band all wrote and workshopped material at Coventry University and recorded the final album at Flipside Studios in Coventry alongside the brilliant mind of local producer Matt Cotterill.
