The Uzzi Group's main focus is on Leadership Development with a specific focus on Leadership Styles, Emotional Intelligence and Organizational Climate. Understanding leadership styles and their effectiveness according to varying tasks help leaders create positive climates for their teams and make a positiver impact on bottom line performance. Numerous studies have shown that EI makes a difference between a highly effective leader and an average one. Today's leaders from top to bottom must haver more than just the right technical skills and IQ. The Uzzi Group is accredited through the Hay Group to give the ESCI and OCS testing and follow up executive coaching. The Hay Group and Harvard College developed a 360 degree behavioral measure of EI called the emotional and and social competency inventory. Feedback from the ESCI provides focus for behavior change. It provides data on the behaviors that matter and is applicable to any leadership or professional role. The Organizational Climate Survey (OCS) is a 180 degree, multi rater assessment that is distinct from culture or employee surveys in that it measures dimensions that are directly influenced by the immediate manager. The measure identifies six key dimensions of organizational climate.
