The Varsity Collective

The Varsity Collective was formed on behalf of University of Wisconsin student-athletes and will serve as the model for the way all student-athletes deserve to be supported, harnessing our capabilities and network to empower the whole of each athlete, enhance their opportunities and create positive ripples across the community. We are building a foundation of lifelong success for every athlete: bringing to life opportunities for donors and companies to sponsor charity events and philanthropic partnerships in collaboration with student-athletes, while surrounding them with an all-star team of alumni and resources to help guide them toward excellence off the field and in the game of life. Built on a Four Pillar Playbook, we empower student-athletes to be their Badger Best through: a. NIL Support – facilitating opportunities for student-athletes to support giveback partnerships that uplift the Badger community as part of its effort to support community 501(c)(3) organizations b. NIL Branding Support – training through a unique program, Rep Yourself, to help student-athletes navigate the NIL landscape, develop their personal brand, unlock new earnings opportunities and build a profile for life after college. c. Life CurrencyTM* – creating a unique platform for student-athletes to learn from an extensive group of alumni athletes, businesspeople and professionals across career disciplines, including mentorships and meaningful insights for every stage of the college experience and beyond d. Funding the Future – establishing a sustainable base of donors, businesses and 501(c)(3) charitable partnerships to foster ever-growing NIL opportunities for student-athletes.
