The Vinyl Suns

The Vinyl Suns emerged in Athens, GA in August, 2015. Though considered a Blues Rock band, they dabble in Soul, Southern Rock, Funk, Latin, and Progressive Rock. When on stage, The Vinyl Suns let loose all their troubles to communicate through their music and invite the audience to join their story. The members of The Vinyl Suns have deep musical connections with one another. This allows each member of the band to constantly experiment with their creative process. Because of this, no song is ever played the same way twice. To The Vinyl Suns, the goal of music has always been to recreate and relive memories in a way that allows them to be shared with others. This goal helps prolong the life of a song by making it a living, breathing work. More than a year after they began, The Vinyl Suns headed to Athens’ Chase Park Transductions where they recorded and mixed the record. On October 1st, 2016, The Vinyl Suns released their first record after taking a year to compile the nine-song EP, Rise N’ Shine. Rise N’ Shine features some of the classic hits that the band has been all over Athens and Atlanta.
