The Weatherhead Fund is Case Western Reserve University’s oldest student-run organization focused on investment management. Founded in 2011 with a seed donation, the Fund has grown a long-only equity portfolio to approximately $1.3 million through disciplined, fundamental investing."The Fund" is organized into six sector verticals: Consumer, Financial Technology (FinTech), Diversified Industrials & Energy, Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT), Healthcare, and Financial Institutions Group (FIG) & Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs). Members develop deep sector expertise through rigorous equity research, financial modeling, and ongoing portfolio analysis in collaboration with experienced upperclassmen.
