In the Indus Valley area around BC in Sanskrit, the Charaka Samhita is a treatise on general medicine. According to it, the human body comprises three-body states, which include Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Vata consists of the elements air and ether. Pitta consists of fire and water elements, and Kapha is characterized by earth and water elements. When the three-body states are in perfect harmony, people enjoy good health, whereas an imbalance causes diseases. We seek to address this state of imbalance through a process of natural healing.
