The Western Echo is an independently owned and published community news magazine - high gloss, full colour, A4 format. Delivered monthly to 15,700 homes, businesses and clubs in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane, Queensland, since 1994. Suburbs covered include: The Gap, Ashgrove, West Ashgrove, St John's Wood, Dorrington, Keperra, Red Hill, Bardon, Paddington, and Newmarket. We focus on quality local news, stories about our local community - and offering affordable advertising for our local businesses. We work very closely with, and support, all our local community groups, including offering free editorial opportunities for local not-for-profit groups. Local friends Mel + Kym purchased The Western Echo in April 2023 to ensure the long-term future of the publication for our community.
