The Yates Group

Todd Yates is the Managing Principal for The Yates Group. He has been in the commercial real estate business since 1983. He started with Coldwell Banker Commercial (now CBRE) as a broker and spent 7 years there. He then went to The Alter Group and spent 24 years as Senior Vice President of National Development and General Manager of the Southeast Region. He left Alter in 2012 when Alter closed down its operations in the Southeast and formed his own company, The Yates Group. While at Alter, Mr. Yates directed all build-to-suit and speculative development throughout the Southeastern United States. He has been directly involved in the development of 53 office, office service and industrial buildings totaling over SF with a value of over The Yates Group focuses on office and industrial development, acquisitions, dispositions, consulting and asset management in the Southeast. Recently, The Yates Group served as the local operating partner for RexxHall Realty an affiliate of Rugby Realty of New York. Mr. Yates oversaw the leasing and management professionals for the Atlanta portfolio it acquired from The Alter Group and pursued additional acquisitions on behalf of RexxHall. He also assisted in the disposition of assets in Miami for RexHall. The Yates Group also has been handling the disposition of Alters land and building assets in the Southeast.
