The Zanzibar Collection

The Zanzibar Collection is a distinguished, privately-owned group of four luxury hotels and resorts located on the serene southeast coast of Zanzibar. Founded in Zanzibar at a time when the east coast had no power, water, and very few roads, The Collection has played a big role in transforming Spice Island into the tourist hotspot it is today. What has been built is a paradise that epitomizes excellence in hospitality, service and luxury, while also remaining authentic to Zanzibar's rich and storied history. Each property within The Zanzibar Collection has it's own unique charm, offering meticulous attention to detail and exquisite decor that reflects Zanzibar's profound culture and heritage: 1. Baraza Resort and Spa is celebrated as one of Zanzibar's most beautiful boutique resorts, evoking the island's elegance from the era of the Sultans through its design. Breezes Beach Club & Spa is known for its idyllic beachfront setting and warm hospitality. The Palms Zanzibar, with only seven private villas, offers one of the most exclusive and intimate experiences in Africa. Zawadi Hotel boasts breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean, nestled above a picturesque cove on a receding cliff, providing guests with a retreat of the utmost tranquility. The Zanzibar Collection is committed to sustainability and community support, employing over 600 local staff and offering in-house training to nurture local talent. Dedicated to reducing plastic pollution, supporting local schools, and building healthcare facilities, there is a commitment to positive regional development unlike anywhere else on the island. Guests can enjoy award-winning spas, a diving center, and a variety of excursions showcasing Zanzibar's natural beauty. Three of the four resorts are all-inclusive, ensuring a seamless and luxurious stay, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the magic of the island.
