Theatre Booking Services is a professional services company providing film buying services to independent theatre owners since 1975. We recognize and take seriously the important role our partner’s theatres play in contributing to the livelihood of their community and family. For guests attending independently owned theatres, the experience is about MORE than just the movie, it represents an audience full of neighbors and friends, showing up every Saturday night, even if they aren’t especially excited about what’s on screen; sure, the movie is important, but an evening-out at these theatres represents so much more. TBS and its theatre partners, are part of one of the most recognizable industries in the world. Our product is a motion picture, the world’s greatest storytelling medium and it changes every week…our partners are independent theatres owned and operated by private companies, city governments and community-owned non-profit organizations. our job is to acquire content from Hollywood studios and bring it to their screens. We are strong advocates for independent theatre owners and understand the best thing we can do to make sure our partners and their communities continue to thrive, is help them generate strong financial performance…even not-for-profit organizations need to generate revenue. We believe our relationship is a partnership, and doing our part means providing our partners with the best content available, at the best terms available; and sharing insights, information, analysis and data in support of them operating a successful and consumer-relevant business.
