Due to the data size and its complexity, current tools provide suboptimal planning performance, because they only use limited information, such as the starting or ending locations of, or densities of objects, or flows from starts to ends. Gordian revolutionizes transport planning by providing easy-to-use and effective tools for a wide range of transport sector stakeholders: planning authorities, operators, OEMs, and strategists. The Gordian tools are powered by lightning-fast analytics and artificial intelligence and consider ALL parts of the movement traces. When applied to finding optimal locations to build electric roads, Gordian tools can find plans that electrify up to 3 times as much transport work than traditional corridor plans. Or, electrify the same transport work with 80% less infrastructure investments. This means savings in the order of megatons in CO2-emissions annually or billions of Euros in infrastructure investments. Gordian tools can also be used to plan and optimize: transport hubs, transit routes, hub-to-hub corridors, consolidated logistics, merge-in-transit operations, and fleet management.
