Them Bites

At Them Bites, we think food is a way to connect with other people, communities, and histories. We believe good food doesn’t need to be complicated or costly. Everyone can make delicious, satisfying meals on any budget, and we’re here to help. Husband and wife duo Maddy and JD began Them Bites because they love to cook together, learn about food, and connect with people who are different from them. Maddy is a photo and video journalist and home cook. JD is an artist, digital marketer, and former sushi chef/line cook/everything BOH. Together they have more than 35 years’ experience working with food, marketing, and telling stories. Maddy and JD are excited to share recipes and highlight places to eat, drink, and have fun in their home of Asheville, a small Southern Appalachian city in Western NC.
