THERASSAY is a core facility for the exploration of functions and pathologies on small animals, based on the expertise of 8 researchers and 12 engineers/technicians from research teams recognised for their expertise- Pre-clinical validation of a new target of therapeutic interest - Evaluation of the therapeutic or protective effects of molecules or food compounds - Characterization of the functional effects of a product: identifying and understanding its action, finding the target organ(s), defining active doses Therassay offers a unique service, from the generation of animal models to highly specialized functional analysis of cardiovascular, metabolic, respiratory, digestive and motor functions, as well as onco-hematology. Therassay is certified by the national network of IBiSA platforms and is integrated into the Biogenouest network. Thanks also to the support of CAPACITES SAS, a private subsidiary of the University of Nantes, THERASSAY offers a private company reactivity in the support of partnership research contracts between private actors and university laboratories.
