Thermal Design Solutions (TDS), founded in 2019 by Dr. Fadil Ayad, is a Luxembourg-based company specializing in automotive thermal systems. Our team, with extensive experience in the automotive thermal industry, has worked for TIER-1 suppliers, covering customer needs and specifications analysis, R&D, product design, sizing, simulation, durability assessment, and manufacturing. They were involved in major successful projects related to thermal and refrigeration systems, heat exchangers, and front-end cooling modules with car makers. They also actively participated in launching new heat exchangers for the automotive industry. At TDS, we've supported companies in the automotive, energy storage, and household refrigeration sectors. With the electric vehicle revolution, we've helped new and existing players develop their thermal expertise and win new business opportunities. Our key achievements include: • Developing and sizing a front-end cooling module with its heat exchangers for a major car maker's new electric vehicle platform. • Supporting a major Chinese company in establishing its European automotive thermal activities. • Developing and licensing HEXsim, a valuable heat exchanger simulation/sizing tool. • Supplying CO2 heat exchanger prototypes for a major European automotive company.
