Since its creation in 1913, Thermocompact has dedicated expertise in two trades: precious metals coating, high technology wire for EDM applications and fixed abrasive highly technical engineered wires for photovoltaic, electronic and LED industries. On a worldwide basis and in very changing markets, Thermocompact has demonstrated continuous improvements in order to meet its industrial customers’ expectations in the various fields of automotive, aeronautics, space, connectors, medical, precision cutting. These innovations have led to major product and process improvements to enable Thermocompact to offer its customers optimum technical results in terms of performance and productivity. A department of 8 engineers and technicians works on research and innovation resulting in the generation of more than 17 world patent registrations.
