The Thieme Group, with 950 staff, is a $180 million provider of medical and chemistry information, software, and services in a range of German and other international business units. International products include databases for medical student and resident education and board preparation, diagnostic imaging, nursing diagnosis as well as organic chemical synthesis for the pharmaceutical industry. Other products include informed consent and emergency management software. Services include programs for the management of chronic diseases.
