Think Thing Design

From thinking to thing. UX architecture & design systems for industrial, MedTech and professional tools. I believe the people who design products and the people who work with them every day are connected. Two questions come first, always: What is this product for? And what does it feel like to use? — Jens Franke, Founder What Think Thing stands for Think Thing turns complex requirements into tools and interfaces that work – not just on paper, but in the hands of the people using them. Users today move through layered digital ecosystems, not single applications. Products have to hold together across touchpoints: consistent interaction principles, scalable design systems. That's what Think Thing builds – for industrial systems, medical technology, and professional production tools. Increasingly, this includes designing AI-integrated systems: products where AI supports people in their daily work instead of being just a feature. From research and UX architecture through to implementation. Who's behind it Jens Franke has spent over 18 years working on complex technical systems – embedded systems, medical devices, automotive, energy, professional camera systems. Environments where precise interaction design is business-critical. His work spans research, service design, UX architecture, and high-fidelity prototyping. The results are evidence-based concepts that hold up in daily use. A core competency: enabling cross-functional teams and building design systems that scale consistently across platforms.
