Third Serve Foundation

Third Serve is a non-profit, 501 (c)(3) grassroots tennis organization based in Charleston, South Carolina. Our mission is to enrich lives through tennis in underserved communities. As a recognized chapter of the USTA Foundation's National Junior Tennis and Learning network, Third Serve incorporates an educational component congruent to growing the game. Founded by the Barth - Hawtin Tennis Academy Directors, Bruce Hawtin and Jonathon Barth, Third Serve's goal is to provide children the fundamental Tennis training and environment they may otherwise dispossess. We consist of three different programs in three different locations, taught in Spanish and English at entirely no-cost to our participants. Thanks to the dedicated support and funding from our community of Tennis advocates, we are able to continue supplying the tools and instruction necessary to launch a child's athletic career for over 100 youth students weekly.
