Thomas and Company is an established commercial law firm in Sydney, Australia offering quality legal services to local and overseas clients. Over the years, Thomas and Company has established a network of contacts in Sydney and in other Australian capital cities in key sectors of law, accounting, business and industry. Our firm has access to an international network of law and accounting firms through its membership of Intercontinental Grouping of Accountants and Lawyers based in Paris, France and Miami, USA. Thomas and Company traces its origins back to the firm of Deane, Haselhurst & Howard which was founded in 1897 by Charles Marmaduke Deane. When Arthur Haselhurst became a partner in 1916 the firm's name changed to C.Marmaduke Deane & Haselhurst and in 1925 when Francis Eric Howard joined the partnership the firm became known as Deane, Haselhurst & Howard. In 1978 the firms of Deane, Haselhurst & Howard and W B Thomas and Company merged to form one entity. In 1996 the firm's name was changed to its present name of Thomas and Company.
