I am a 'primary care' lawyer. I work with small businesses, start ups and entrepreneurs to get them formed properly, keep them in compliance and be an advisor. My role is similar to the primary care physician.by getting to know the client and the business strategy, I can respond quickly to the problems that come up. If a specialist is needed, I have relationships with lawyers who specialize in intellectual property, commercial litigation and bankruptcy, criminal law and family law. I want to make sure that I add value to the transaction; one of my clients described me as the least expensive 'employee' he had.
