Thomas is always interested in looking beyond, visualising the invisible and revealing the hidden. He tends to explore subjects beyond the surface value and this usually leads to abstraction. While the forms are mostly influenced by nature, they are primarily driven by the unconscious and dictated by the material. Thomas frequently challenges the boundaries between the manmade and the natural. While doing so, his work often aims to raise concerns about the potential consequences of unsustainable human intervention.
