Sometimes we can deal with life's challenges on our own and sometimes we can use a helping hand. Human beings are inherently social and our well-being depends on our ability to relate to others. Our meaningful connections enable us to grow and thrive. When we feel overwhelmed, depressed, anxious, out of control, panicked, or otherwise emotionally dysregulated, it can be difficult to effectively participate in society. As a psychotherapist, my goal is to work with you to increase your well-being and to help you function at your highest level. I provide practical and solution-oriented psychotherapy for individuals of all ages, including couples, groups, and families. I believe that race, gender roles, and disability are social constructs. My goal is to help you help yourself:"Give a person a fish, and they will eat for a day. Teach a person how to fish, and they will eat for their whole life." Taking care of your mental health is just as important as tending to your physical health. I am passionate about helping my clients live their most fulfilled lives, whatever that might mean to you.
