Thorne Electric was founded by William Thorne in 1951. We began building Street Lighting projects in 1968 and Traffic Signal construction in 1982. A family owned business, we pride ourselves as being experts in our field and our regular customers value our reliability and professionalism. We are a union electrical contractor completing work for the Illinois Dept. of Transporation Districts 1, 2 and 3; the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority; DuPage, Cook, Kane, Kendall and Will County DOT's; many local Municipalities, Private Developers and General Contractors. Located in unicorporated Carol Stream, DuPage County, IL performing work from McHenry to Pontiac and from Tinley Park to Rochelle.
