Thornton Lodge

Thornton Lodge is a unique property in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Whilst it offers 5 star gold bed and breakfast from April to September it also provides an amazing location for private parties and corporate entertaining in winter. Corporate clients are able to entertain thier own guests in a luxurious get homely environment. The house was thoughtfully designed specifically for entertaining around 100 years ago and is an ideal location for up to 18 guests to stay overnight. Host Vanessa is able to arrange a private chef and liase with local wine merchants to provide an exciting dinner menu, preceeded by canapes and pre dinner drinks in the gust lounge. An option to employ entertainment exists depending upon the intended mood of the evening. Parties can conclude in the dining room or retire back into the lounge for post dinner drinks around the fire or even a pool tournament. The flow between the lounge and dining room makes the entertaining space incredibly versatile and Vanessa can create something as elaborate or informal as required. A hearty Yorkshire breakfast awaits guests in the morning and Vanessa is able to organise unlimited outdoor pursuits if desired.
