Founded in 1965 in Toome, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland, Thornton began as a family-run sheet roofing business. Over the decades, we've grown into a third-generation leading specialist contractor, built on a foundation of customer satisfaction and quality workmanship. Our Divisions- Major Works: Turn-key design, supply, and installation services for new-build flat roofing, composite cladding, rainscreen cladding, and glazed facades- Specialist Works: Roofing and cladding refurbishment and remedial work, including contractual and emergency maintenance for building owners and management companies- Fabrication: Our in-house manufacturing facility fabricates aluminium windows, doors, curtain walling, sheet metal flashings, and bespoke metalwork, enabling quality control and quick turnarounds. Our workshop department also offers a supply-only service to external customers.
