Thoughtpivot is the brainchild of founders Dan Stephenson and Nick Shimokochi who, between the two of them, have more than two decades of combined experience in software design, advanced mathematics, and the design of algorithms. Operating under the premise that creative ideas are an amalgam of human influences, they envision the formation a community in which ideas and technology are open-source; here, powerful software tools and the knowledge required to bring them to bear are at any and everyone’s fingertips, and intuition is manifest through the simple touch of a screen or the click of a button.
