TAG works with clients to create model workplace violence prevention programs. Since 1987, TAG has helped companies of every description—including 3M, Motorola, Lockheed Martin, Macy’s, FedEx, and hundreds of others—translate a commitment to prevention into practical strategies for creating safer, more productive workplaces. More than senior managers have attended TAG training and routinely use TAG methods to reduce risk. In turn, they have delivered TAG training to workforce's numbering in the millions. TAG launched an industry when it introduced the specialty of workplace violence prevention in 1987 and, in 1993, presented the first formal training in the field. Drawing on the values and scientific findings of medicine, psychiatry, psychology, public health, and criminology, TAG’s philosophy—Safety First, Fairness Second—has led to innovations that are now industry standards: the cross-functional team approach, early intervention, safe and fair reporting and tracking, and customized training for individual corporate audiences.
