Having gone through our own first-hand experience of caring for an individual within the home environment, we realise the importance of finding someone with the compassion and skill levels to care for a loved one. We want to change the approach to the care system in the UK by putting people first. We want to give families the comfort of knowing that they will receive the best care available to them. Trained, compassionate skilled carers are central to our core values, and we recognise them and reward them for their work ethic. We all know first-hand that personal and reliable care is invaluable. We want as many people as possible to be able to choose to stay in their own homes for as long as they possibly can, and we want all families to enjoy those special memorable moments safe in the knowledge their loved ones are in capable caring hands. We care passionately. We believe we have all the ingredients to enhance the quality of care by catering to the needs of individuals and their families to deliver an outstanding care service. To be honest, personally I have always enjoyed working in domiciliary care. The part I enjoyed the most was working with the people, discovering who those people were prior to needing care, hearing their personal stories, having the opportunity to get wisdom, particularly from the older people that I worked within the past. I just found it interesting to know about their lives and they always enjoyed having someone to talk to about their past, their memories, what they enjoyed the most etc. So perhaps some of that could be included alongside as well.
