The Thrive Approach is a specific way of working with all children and young people that helps to develop their social and emotional wellbeing, enabling them to engage with life and learning. Grounded in the latest advances in neuroscience, attachment theory and child development, the Thrive Approach has been developed over the past 25 years and draws on a wealth of experience in social work, psychotherapy and education. Thrive helps you support children and young people in becoming more self-assured, emotionally resilient and open to learning. Our Commitment Thrive is committed to supporting and encouraging the development of confident, curious, creative and capable children and young people who are open to learning and better equipped to deal with life’s ups and downs. We intend to achieve this by- focussing on the best outcomes for children and young people through established research and evidence-based practice - fostering the understanding, skills and positive relationships needed to develop and sustain healthy social and emotional wellbeing - embracing change and harnessing new technologies and innovative approaches that will increase accessibility and reach - developing Thrive as a modern, sustainable and well-run business. Thrive Training Our portfolio of training provides a range of courses for different roles within a setting, with sessions tailored for early years (working with 0-4 year-olds), childhood (working with 4-11 year-olds) and adolescence (working with 11-18 year-olds). We offer introductory courses that explain the Thrive Approach and how it works to support every student in a setting, through to more detailed Licensed courses for staff that work with students requiring additional support to access learning.
