Currently, Thrive builds in Stapleton, Westminster, Wheat Ridge and Superior. Thrive successfully differentiates ourselves from the competition with our ‘Net-Zero Energy Ready’ construction techniques such as our premium performance exterior double 2x4 walls. In 2017, Thrive built more Certified Zero Energy Ready homes than any other builder in the country. Building on that reputation, Thrive continues to lead the homebuilding industry into the next frontier. Every home is built Zero Energy Ready, LEED Certified, and Thrive is Denver’s largest builder of EPA Indoor airPLUS-qualified homes. Thrive has earned national recognition for our dedication to energy efficiency, recently winning the Grand Award for Housing Innovation from the U.S. Department of Energy for the sixth consecutive year. Professional Builder Magazine also named Thrive Home Builders their 2017 Builder of the Year. Thrive Home Builders began in 1992 when Gene Myers, our CEO, founded Greentree Homes. He believed in building an eco-friendly home as society became increasingly aware of its impact on the environment. In Gene shifted the company’s focus to New Urbanist development and changed the company’s name to New Town Builders where he built a national reputation for energy efficiency and innovation. Gene’s drive for innovation brought him to a new focus on health and indoor air quality. As we evolve, so does our name. New Town Builders became Thrive Home Builders in 2015. The name Thrive represents our commitment to healthy homes and a desire to build a brand that speaks directly to the customer's prosperity.
