Our company was founded in 2009 by Kristine Medea and Bryce Monaco. Together they have grown from a private practice into a thriving organization. We welcome all ages, races, cultural backgrounds, religious affiliations, gender identities, and sexual orientations. We strive to create a supportive environment where individuals, couples, and families can find the care they need to heal from trauma. We provide depth oriented psychotherapy and comprehensive wellness services to individuals, couples, and families. We are highly attuned to your individual needs and will create a customized plan to support you and your family. We specialize in integrative trauma informed care. A bit about our CEO/Clinical Director: Kristine Medea MA, LPC,BCETS Psychotherapist Kristine is the founder and Clinical Director of ThrivingHeart and a licensed therapist in Georgia. She is a Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress and has attained Diplomat standing with the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress. She also retains certification in the treatment of people with long term psychiatric disorders. Recently she served on the Georgia Mental Health Planning and Advisory Council. Kristine has worked in the mental health field for over 20 years. Her background and training is in family systems therapy, child, adolescent and adult mental health with a specialization in trauma resolution and healing for a variety of related issues. She works with a diverse clientele of individuals, couples and families.
