Thumbprint Artifacts

Thumbprint Artifacts supports artisans in South Africa where we can have a positive effect on decreasing the rate of unemployment. With a purchase of a product from Thumbprint Artifacts, customers impact these artisans' lives by helping them to support their family and build self-respect. Over 90% of the artisans are women, primarily single mothers, that would not have a form of employment if not for the use of their artistic talents. Our vision is to create a cycle of success where we give back to these artisans through microloans and other resources that would provide a sustainable business model. The items are all handcrafted home decor items including: candles, table linens, aprons, ceramics and tealights. As each item is hand made and painted without patterns, stencils, or moulds, each piece is different and therefore a unique piece of art! Thumbprint Artifacts items are sold both retail and wholesale. There are over 400 gift shops, museum stores, art galleries, and home decor shops across the United States that sell our products. And because your purchase has a message, the product line is perfect for gift giving and corporate gifting. A lasting gift that 'makes a difference' provides more impact than the tin of cashews with your corporate logo on the label! You can also purchase direct on the company website: where you will not only be able to view the various product lines, but also read the amazing stories of these talented artisans. Or, contact Becky Riess directly for wholesale information, becky@thumbprintartifacts.com.
