TIBETAN WORLD was born thanks to Alfonso Para's passion and brotherhood with the Tibetan culture and population. When he first traveled to Tibet, he was fortunate enough to be welcomed by several families with whom he was able to maintain contact, and over time, they created deep personal ties that allowed him to get to know Tibetan culture beyond what a simple tourist visit would allow. In gratitude, and in a completely altruistic way, he began to help them by facilitating contact with other travellers who, like him, had the dream of visiting this very special corner of the world. After years of experience collaborating with both local and international agencies, fate has led him to devote himself fully to them, specializing in organizing trips and expeditions to the roof of the world. He currently travels frequently throughout the Himalayas and lives in Lhasa with his family, becoming the only Spaniard residing in Tibetan territory. Therefore, TIBETAN WORLD is not just another agency. In addition to knowing the territory that our itineraries cover inside out and in person, we also select and support, like no other, the local staff and businesses with whom we work, design all our routes, and offer the flexibility to organize any trip to this destination tailored to our clients' needs with all the guarantees and with the responsibility of always putting the safety of our clients and the well-being of our local staff first.
