TIC+ is a mental health charity working to ensure that every young person has someone to talk to. We have been working to achieve this goal since 1994, and today we provide face-to-face and online counselling and support to young people aged 9-21 in Gloucestershire. We are constantly working to reach more young people and in 2016 we launched an online counselling service which allows people to talk to a qualified counsellor who can refer them on for counselling sessions, as well as having counselling sessions, using only a phone or computer. Our research told us that young people really valued the option of online counselling and we have had positive results. Over 95% of those asked in the last 12 months felt that the counselling services we provide had helped. At the core of TIC+ is our dedicated team of over 50 counsellors, all carefully selected for their specialist experience and qualifications in working with young people. Our counsellors practice a range of therapies, for children, young people and families, including CBT, play, equine and other therapies.
