The SureSeal is connected to the vessel's stern tube using an articulating, single-convolution hose. The hose design automatically positions the SureSeal® the correct operating distance from the stern tube. No measurements are required. The SureSeal® design incorporates a removable front cap, which improves access to the lip seal. A worn lip seal can be replaced, even while the vessel is in the water. The Tides Marine Sail Track & Slide System is a high performance, low friction mainsail luff track and slide system built to handle the increased loads and demands of today's full or partially battened, large roach and high aspect mainsails.
