Tilia is made up of a team of foodies who realised some time ago that, when it comes to food and drink, it's really not possible to be a master of all trades. With that in mind, we went about pulling together true masters in each field; so that means the most highly acclaimed breads, meats, cakes, and so on, from award winning artisans across the land, both traditional and new. One catch though is that artisans by their very nature are small producers, so for us to use one baker, as an example, for the whole nation and beyond would be a conflict of interests, plus the less fresh food has to travel, the better. To tackle these challenges we have employed a regional approach to sourcing our partners; the intention is to have the best fish monger, butcher, etc, in every county across the UK. You can then choose to either shop at the one closest to you or further afield if that’s your preference. One thing that can be counted upon with this approach is that the end result is a level of consistent quality, right across the range that simply can't be beaten. Yes, there are places that have good lamb perhaps, or a great beer selection maybe, but only with Tilia will you find the absolute best products available in each category.
