TimCo Foods specializes in producing high quality edible oils from beef, pork and lamb fat trimmings. TimCo Foods will collect the fat trimmings in provided plastic collection bins from small- to medium-size butcher shops. Using its manufacturing plant in St. George, TimCo Foods will manufacture edible oils most commonly known as animal shortening, tallow and lard. Edible oils can also be marketed as inedible oils to be used in making a wide variety of products such as biodiesel, soap, cosmetics, and candles. Secondary and tertiary products from the processing can be used as an ingredient in livestock feed, fertilizers, lubrication for steel rolling, and can also be used as synthetic motor oil.
