Titan Private Wealth (formerly Cardale Asset Management) was established in 2003 and is a wealth manager based in Harrogate. We pride ourselves on delivering simple and sound advice to our clients old and new, which is why many clients have been with us from the very beginning. We would classify ourselves as bottom-up portfolio managers. Investment decisions are driven predominantly by fundamental analysis and our view on the top-down macro environment is used to drive asset allocations and themes within portfolios. We operate a dynamic business model ensuring we can move quickly to maximise opportunities as and when they arise. As a business, one of our key strengths is direct equity investment. An equity is a share in an individual company which can rise or fall in value as the fortunes of the company or outside factors such as the economy influence the share price. The key to direct equity investment is selecting the right companies to invest in. According to a report by Hendrik Bessembinder, ‘Wealth Creation in the U.S. Public Stock Markets 1926 to 2019’, 1% of stocks have accounted for all the global net wealth creation in stock markets over the last century. We have developed our approach over time and have a rigorous process driven by in depth research into individual stocks.
