Tlk Foundation
Treat‘em Like a King (TLK) began in 1996 as a way to serve disadvantaged and at-risk youth. TLK opened it’s doors as a group home which originally housed six children along with an around the clock staff. In 2004, Harold closed the group home, as he chose to redirect the focus of TLK to community needs. We offer a variety of programs and events that develop and reinforce positive character traits and life skills. Our goal is to eliminate the many barriers that local families face in today’s challenging times. Some of our highlighted programs include the annual Back to School and Holiday Events, That Could Be Me, Educational Tutoring Support and Mentoring, Entrepreneurship Training for High School Students, and specialized Sport and Science Camps.
