Tmc. Ss Shanghai

The new factory in Shanghai, China, has become operative from the beginning of November 2009. In view of a continuously expanding Chinese market and the great appreciation of the product for reliability and performances, TM.C. spa Termomeccanica Compressori, at the middle of 2009, thought it advisable to establish a new company, named TM.C.SS with head office in Shanghai, just in order to be able to better address the Chinese market, where TM.C has been conspicuously present since 2004. TM.C.’s primary aim is to maintain the considerable quality level of our products; actually, the most technological and sophisticated part of the air-end, i.e. the rotor machining, remains in Italy, whereas all other components are machined and assembled in the new plant in China. Special importance is given to an adequate training of the personnel. The leading organization consists of personnel emigrated from Italy. The training is conducted directly by our staff of La Spezia. The choice of production means has been made on the basis of the experiences already made in Italy; Controls are assured at the same level as in main branch, thanks to the use of identical machinery. Actually, the first important purchase has been a measuring machine identical to the one in the Italian factory. The first months are encouraging. Actually, the product already launched on the Chinese market is raising considerable success, offering optimal results and performances. The new company TM.C. SS is situated in modern facilities in the Baoshan industrial area, about an hour from Shanghai, including also our offices where our staff is able to grant a first class technical and commercial service to our Customers.
