Tom Hall Photography

My love for photography spawns from a love of people. I used to take landsape photos and even though I felt a sense of achievement it never compared to that of working with people. I am a strong believer that you don't take great pictures without having a great connection and an understanding of the subject. I love the process of a shoot and how the journey within it reveals the true essence of whom/what it is you're capturing. I love the feeling I get when someone sees themselves through my eyes/photography and proclaims,"I look wonderful!" It's a gratifying feeling to know that the work I've put in to understand the person has paid off. I enjoy shooting on location and mixing natural and artificial lighting together. Shooting outdoors always creates so many more possibilities. I'm also currently getting into HDR.
