Tom Kerevan

I’ve been writing in various mediums for as long as I can remember and it was about five years ago that I found my home in writing screenplays. Prior to this, my focus had always been acting and this took me to Royal Holloway, University of London to study Drama. Whilst there I trained with the theatre company Rough Fiction, working closely with playwright Phil King and director Simon Pittman, enjoying successful runs at Edinburgh Fringe and NSDF Scarborough. It was also at Royal Holloway that I met long-term collaborator, director and editor James Cregeen. Since 2003, James and I have worked on numerous projects together, from early student short films to developing feature films and high-concept TV drama ideas. Most recently we produced PASS, a short film currently in post-production. Upon graduating in 2006, I moved to London to pursue a career in the film industry. Since then I have focussed on developing my craft and finding my voice, which, after writing every day for the last few years, I believe is now strongly emerging. I divide the rest of my time between working as a Quizmaster, working as a Tour Guide for Sambrook’s Brewery, catching up with friends, enjoying the London entertainment scene, camping out in the cinema, watching football and studying philosophy and psychology, particularly the work of Ken Wilber whose writings have a huge influence on my Screenplays. I’m also a mad Everton fan, a keen golfer and love escaping to Cornwall for long weekends.
