We believe in the English House. We are inspired by vernacular farmhouses, Elizabethan manors, Georgian formality and the medieval revival of the Arts and Crafts. Located in the centre of Sussex we have a deep understanding of the historic architecture of the south-east of England and how it has evolved in the stunning landscapes of the South Downs, High Weald and Surrey Hills. We specialise in the conservation and remodelling of historic houses and the design of new buildings informed by their context. Our experience working on country houses has given us valuable insights into how the model of the traditional English country house can be adapted to meet today's way of life. Every project is unique and we pride ourselves in listening closely to our client's needs to create environments that enhance their daily lives.
