Our story begins with Tom, who has been living with severe disability since birth, and Sarah, his mother, and the founder of TomCare. For 16 years, the frustration of trying to find and access support services; dealing with mountains of paperwork; and multiple carers who were unable to meet Tom's needs, were all part of everyday life for the family. There had to be a better way. TomCare draws on lived experiences to provide high quality, family-centred disability support, without all the administrative burdens. We aim to help you develop a support system that is not only tailored to your needs now, but one that will grow with you and your child.
