Tools4teams

High-quality patient care relies on effective teamwork by healthcare professionals. In this context, the Horizon 2020 Tools4Teams project will research and develop innovative tools to support teams in complex healthcare situations. There is an urgent need for a deeper understanding of team performance both in centralised acute care settings and decentralised chronic care settings. This knowledge can be applied in the design and implementation of innovative tools for training and real-time application. Tools4Teams brings together expertise from social and technical sciences, human-centred design, education, and clinical specialities alongside industry partners. The project consortium recruited 12 doctoral candidates to work on various lines of research and become the next generation of entrepreneurial, collaboration experts.
