Top Deck Restaurant & Bar

OUR HISTORY This charming building was first used as a boathouse and recreation room. The lower level stored sails, spars and nets. Horse troughs full of minnows were kept for the fishing in North Bay. And during the winter, boats were winched into the boathouse on rails. The upper level was a popular wedding reception site. In 1957 Phil and Curly Gordon opened the newly named “Top Deck” as a nightclub and late night eatery. Red Wilson performed live music alongside the dance floor, and hot roast beef was served on homemade bread until after midnight. What has remained unchanged over the years are the beautiful sunsets, which bring many visitors to Gordon Lodge each season.
