TOP FARM is an innovative, eco-friendly agribusiness based in Houngo, Allada, Benin, founded in 2022 by veterinary technician and social entrepreneur Roger Kouagré Tcharo. We combine modern agritech solutions with traditional know-how to build profitable, climate-resilient, and socially inclusive farming systems. Our mission is to strengthen food security, rural incomes, and environmental sustainability by producing healthy, affordable, and locally sourced products while empowering vulnerable communities. What we do- Ecological Agriculture: Sustainable vegetable farming, compost production, soil regeneration- Sustainable Livestock: Guinea fowl and poultry production with strong animal welfare and biosecurity standards- Animal Health Services: Mobile veterinary care for farms and pets, phytomedicine solutions- Training & Extension: Capacity-building for youth, women, and rural farmers in animal production and agroecology- Climate Action: Eco-charcoal, reforestation, and adaptation of farming practices to climate change- Inclusive Agribusiness Support: Incubation, project writing, and technical assistance for smallholder farmers. Our impact so far- Generated income and jobs for rural youth and women- Provided hands-on training to local farmers, enabling them to increase productivity and market access- Improved community nutrition through the promotion of local protein sources- Contributed to environmental protection through reforestation and organic waste recycling- We reinvest 20% of our annual revenue into farmer training, incubation, and rural support programs—ensuring that growth for TOP FARM also means growth for our communities.
